What You’ll Be Doing
As a Solutions Architect, you’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing mining sector clients for Raizcorp’s enterprise and supplier development programs by building relationships with C-suite executives, procurement heads, and transformation leaders.
Mining Industry Business Development – Identify and secure high-value mining clients through strategic prospecting, industry networking, and leveraging your existing relationships.
Solution Selling in Mining ESD & SLP – Position Raizcorp’s supplier development solutions as the best fit for mining companies looking to enhance their B-BBEE scorecards.
Own the Full Sales Cycle – From lead generation to negotiation, proposal development, and deal closure.
Engage Senior Stakeholders – Work closely with Mining CEOs, Procurement Leaders, Supply Chain Heads, and Transformation Executives.
Develop Bespoke Proposals – Craft high-impact business cases tailored to the specific needs of mining clients.
Represent Raizcorp in the Mining Sector – Attend and network at industry events, mining expos, and executive roundtables.
Client Retention & Expansion – Maintain strong relationships with clients to secure renewals and drive upselling opportunities.
Build Your Own Portfolio – With annuity-based commissions, your income grows year-on-year as your client base expands.
What You DON’T Need
You don’t need to be an expert in B-BBEE or supplier development—we’ll train you.
You don’t need to be a product-pushing salesperson—this is a high-value, solution-based sales role.
What You MUST Have
Extensive Mining Industry Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or solution selling in the mining sector.
Strong Industry Network: Established relationships with mining executives, procurement teams, and supply chain leaders.
High-Level Negotiation & Closing Skills: Experience winning large, complex contracts in the mining industry.
Resilience & Commercial Acumen: A deep understanding of mining industry procurement, compliance, and ESD dynamics.
Exceptional Communication & Influence: The ability to engage, educate, and persuade senior mining stakeholders.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mining, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
