Middle Project Manager

We are looking for an individual who is inspired to work on large enterprise projects with the founding team at PYGIO. We build software and data analytics products and services that transform enterprises in South Africa, US, and UAE. We work with the largest banks, insurers, telcos, and manufacturing companies in Africa, as well as a diverse range of other enterprises.

We are looking for a Project Manager who can help take ownership of projects, product development, and translate business requirements into successful deliverables.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience delivering IT Projects
2. Demonstrate practical experience of having been a project manager for multiple projects.
3. Work across concurrent projects, with different stakeholders and resources.
4. Staffing, planning, and people management
5. Project constraints including budget, scope, schedule, skill
6. Proficiency with project methodologies and techniques (Waterfall; Agile)
7. Effective leadership and organization skills
8. Effective time management and facilitation
9. Experience in managing stakeholders and cross-functional development teams
10. Can work across multiple stakeholders
11. Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in projects
12. At least Upper-intermediate level of English
13. Have some form of technical understanding of the development life cycle
14. Experience in business analysis.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
2. Daily project management throughout the project life cycle (i.e. project monitoring, management, and evaluation)
3. Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies
4. Meet financial objectives by ensuring financial milestones are met, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions
5. Enforce policies and procedures that suit client requirements
6. Allocating, managing, and utilising resources across concurrent projects
7. Manage project budgets (internal & external costs)
8. Change Management
9. Issue Management
10. Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
