Mid-Level Interior Design Draughtsperson

Job Summary:

We are seeking two experienced and detail-oriented Mid-Level Interior Design Draughtspersons to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and layouts that translate design concepts into construction-ready documents. This role requires a strong understanding of interior design principles, spatial planning, and construction detailing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and project managers to develop design solutions.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
• Create detailed furniture, fixture, and shopfitting drawings as required.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and site conditions.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure accuracy in specifications.
• Maintain an organized library of drawings, material specifications, and project documentation.
• Assist in site measurements and surveys when required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Draughtsperson in an interior design or architectural firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant software.
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of industry standards and local building regulations is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in 3D rendering software such as 3ds Max, Lumion, or Enscape.
• Familiarity with sustainable and innovative design solutions.
• Prior experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design projects.
