MFC Sales Manager - Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape at Old Mutual MFC

Introduction

This role manages a sales team and distribution strategy and is accountable for the sales targets and profitability of the team, over periods of up to a year.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Sales/ Productivity
2. Responsible for external networking & relationship building with key door openers.
3. Marketing
4. Ensures delivery of customer value.
5. Ensures compliance to process & procedures to minimise business risk.
6. Accountable for local marketing.
7. Responsible for distribution strategy of products within a branch.
8. Relationship building
9. Identifies & creates coordinated sales opportunities through others.
10. Manages sales & expense budget for a sales team in a branch against set targets

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. Gr12 (Matric)
2. FSCA Approved NQF Level 5 Qualification
3. FAIS Compliant
4. Product category experience (Long term Insurance subcategory B1, Long term Insurance subcategory B2 and Retail pension benefit)
5. CPD - Continuous Professional Development - All circles
6. COB - Class of Business
7. A valid Driver's licence and your own car
8. A clear criminal and credit check
9. Proven computer literacy (MS Office suite)
10. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
11. Previous Managerial experience
12. Knowledge and exposure to Group Schemes advantageous
13. (Internal) Successful completion of MODP (This applies for applicants who have previously worked for Old Mutual)
14. (External) Managerial qualification - advantageous
