Mechanical Process Engineer (Bulk Materials Handling)

Location: Randburg

Support and assist with the engineering and process design from quotation through to project execution in the bulk material handling field. Finding solutions to process-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Mechanical Engineering Qualification (Diploma, BTech or BEng)
2. Minimum 5 years working experience in bulk materials handling, and process design.

Responsibilities:

1. Process design including pneumatic conveying, plants and materials handling equipment.
2. Assist the project sales team in designing a process to suit customer requirements and create a preliminary P&ID sketch.
3. Assist with checking costing and quotations.
4. Draw up detailed P&IDs.
5. Assist with the initial assessment of process-related issues with the sales engineer.
