Mechanical Engineer Supervisor

SUPERVISOR

• Experience: 4 to 5 years
• Must have a Mechanical Engineering degree
• Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Be able to travel to or relocate - job is in Cato Ridge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overall management of Air Compressor
• Overall management of refrigeration dryer
• Overall management of Softener plant
• Management of domestic water, process water & make-up water
• Overall management of Heater
• Maintain check sheets & P.M. schedules
• Prepare daily & monthly reports
• Address major problems in the area of each individual; please come with an area-wise problem list
• Monitor downtime/frequency of breakdowns in their areas
• Track spare parts consumed and status of spare parts available
• Document Kaizens given and details of Kaizens
• Update the history register of the area
• Develop the safety & TQM culture

Following will be covered under area responsibility:

• Document major problems in the area in an open point list
• Monitor downtime/frequency of breakdowns in their areas
• Track spare parts consumed and status of spare parts availability along with a complete spare part list of respective machine/area
• Develop an action plan for repetitive nature problems and maintain an open point list
• Document Kaizens from respective areas
• Update the history register of the area
• Ensure availability of all documents, drawings, manuals & programs or parameters for the respective area
