Mechanical Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Design and analyse mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
2. Develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs into larger projects.
4. Conduct tests and simulations to validate design concepts and improve functionality.
5. Prepare detailed documentation, including specifications, technical reports, and project plans.
6. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.
8. Preparation of designs or drawings as required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree (BEng or BSc) or BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Registered as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA; Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is preferred.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
4. Proficiency in mechanical design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
5. Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
6. Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
8. Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
9. A proactive and adaptable mindset, able to work independently and as part of a team.
