REQUIREMENTS:

1. Experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software
2. SolidWorks Professional Certification (completed course and certification required)
3. 6-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in sheet metal
4. Experience in Sheet Metal Manufacturing and machine design, including creating full models, parts for laser cutting, and machined parts
5. Experience with creating BOMs and cutting lists for laser cutting
6. Experience with AMADA bending machine software and programming (advantageous)
7. Hands-on experience with measuring parts and creating drawings
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
9. Must currently work on SolidWorks

DUTIES:

1. Update current drawings on AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
2. Model full assemblies, break assemblies down to single parts, and create bending drawings to accurate tolerances.
3. Prepare Bakery Layout drawings to the specifications of the marketing director/manager/representative.
4. Create machine drawings with all specifications for the engineers to machine with tolerances.
5. Update Cutting Lists for each Job Number and assure that quantities, material specifications, and grain directions are correct.
6. Drawings for new designs and developments and improve current products as per management requirements.
7. Ensure that documents are controlled and that revisions are updated on both the drawings and cutting list when changes occur.
8. Only update drawings, cutting lists, and BOMs on request from the Production Director and from a signed/approved ECP Engineering Change Proposal Document.
9. Assure that drawings and information are saved on the company server and not on the PC desktop to avoid any loss of information.
10. Not allowed to override or copy over drawings, to prevent loss of a drawing.
11. Save regularly to avoid loss of time when there are IT problems or Load Shedding.
12. Ensure that company information is secure and not allowed to take any drawings or information home or out of the premises.
