Vehicle Design Leadership: Lead the design, development, and improvement of various military vehicles, including armored vehicles.
Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including suspension, armor, drivetrains, and electronics.
Project Management: Oversee all stages of the design process, from initial concept through to production, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project goals and military specifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers to ensure vehicle designs meet the operational requirements and performance criteria.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet relevant military standards, such as MIL-STD, and comply with defense regulations.
Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of junior designers and engineers, providing guidance and expertise to support their professional development.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in military vehicle design, with a portfolio of successfully completed projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (Preferably Autodesk Inventor).
Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of military vehicle systems and subsystems (e.g., powertrain, armor, electronics). Strong understanding of the manufacturing processes and materials.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts.
Leadership: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams, budgets, and timelines.
