Manage internal and third party contract maintenance, as well as OEMs to ensure high availability and reliability of plant and equipment.
Set and obtain maintenance objectives.
In consultation with Unit Managers and maintenance groups, further develop the maintenance plan and provide support in the execution thereof.
Monitor internal, third party and OEM performance and work with them to continuously improve plant performance.
Assist in planning, scheduling and organizing maintenance operations.
Draw up standards, procedures and working instructions for the development, management and application of maintenance improvement for the technical installations at the cidery.
Offer support in respect of maintenance cost.
Compliance:
Ensure maintenance procedures and equipment operations comply with both Heineken guidelines and legal regulations.
Ensure the transfer of the Heineken rules and guidelines in the field of maintenance and supervise the implementation of these in the cidery.
Check the application of legal regulations, Heineken rules and guidelines, standards, procedures and instructions.
Process Development:
Assist process improvement by suggesting and implementing modifications to maintenance procedures and plant and equipment.
In consultation with the departments concerned (such as the relevant CoEs), further develop the operating standards for current and newly constructed installations.
Submit proposals to department Managers and technical maintenance groups regarding lasting improvements (operation, maintenance methods or modifications).
Conduct research into developments and new methods in respect of technical maintenance and relevant possibilities of application.
Staff Development:
Assist the development of cidery staff by providing technical expertise for AM and PM processes.
Advise the cidery Packaging Leadership team regarding maintenance systems, such as HACS, RCM, TPM, etc., and cooperate with external partners.
Recognize training needs in the fields of maintenance knowledge and improvement skills and issue relevant advice.
Carry out benchmark research in cooperation with GSC.

Ensure the department operates within company SHE standards and OHS Act through continued education and training, obtaining the cooperation and commitment of all staff to observe all safety rules, procedures and processes to drive a zero accident mentality.

Job Requirements
Education:
BSc (Eng) or B Tech (Eng) Mechanical / Electrical (MEng / MSc advantageous)
Strong leadership capabilities
Strong technical aptitude
Packaging experience in an FMCG environment
World Class Manufacturing / TPM exposure (e.g., problem solving, visual management)
Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a supervisory / management role
Strong problem solving and RCA (root cause analysis) abilities
People management and leadership skills
High level of computer literacy in SAP & Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
