Job description

Purpose of Job

Work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will implement the integrated marketing strategy for the firm and centrally manage marketing campaigns. Generate and implement innovative ideas and solutions within the area of responsibility in collaboration with team members to enhance service offerings.

Role Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop marketing/project action plans, culminating out of the various strategies for the relevant line of service/key internal clients.
  2. Brief and liaise with marketing managers to ensure the plan encompasses all aspects required, i.e., PR, online, internal communication, event management.
  3. Project management of the marketing/project plan and implementation of relevant elements within that plan, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  4. Assist in the marketing of thought leadership pieces for the Line of Service/Industry, working with a wide array of people to identify key issues, ensuring timelines are met, and assisting in briefing the studio as well as the various specialists (web, media, etc.) for the final product.
  5. Liaise with the Digital Presence team on campaign performance reports and present the value of the reports of all marketing campaigns to the business.
  6. Active participation in internal and external calls to understand upcoming projects or campaigns.
  7. Handle ad hoc projects as required.
  8. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the issues affecting industries relevant to the Line of Service/Key clients.
  9. Ensure timely requests to the Research team for competitor intelligence to enable impactful marketing efforts.
  10. Build professional relationships within different industries to understand business needs in area/s of responsibility.
  11. Proactively provide innovative ideas and opportunities to the marketing teams.
  12. Brief and liaise with the digital content specialist on social media messages, project manage timing with the digital team to ensure marketing project objectives are met.
  13. Manage reputation by raising any potential reputational issues for PwC Africa on social media to the brand communications team.
  14. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  15. Update marketing spreadsheets and databases.

Qualification & Experience

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  2. 3+ years related full-time experience in marketing, brand, or client services environment.
  3. Strong understanding of customer service standards.
  4. Strong critical thinking skills.
  5. Working knowledge of social media platforms.
  6. Prior experience in building email and social media campaigns.
  7. High attention to detail.
  8. Project management skills.
