Marketing Officer

Our client is looking for a Marketing Officer / Marketing Co-ordinator in Stellenbosch Cape Winelands with 5 years relevant experience in Marketing, campaigns, social media, events and exhibitions.

Salary: Negotiable

Minimum Requirements:

1. Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business Strategy
2. 3-5+ years’ experience in Marketing Officer / Marketing Coordinator
3. Be able to create design briefs for agency
4. Good grammar, spelling and copywriting essential

Job Description:

1. Facilitate all marketing-related functions
2. Marketing and General Office Administration
3. Assist PR company with Newsletter
4. Work closely with the appointed advertising agency on all marketing and advertising requirements
5. Coordinate the deployment of brand / product advertising campaigns
6. Implementation of tactical advertising and experiential activities
7. Maintain key brand partnerships to support strategic marketing
8. Work closely with relevant service providers
9. Maintenance of customer database
10. Co-ordination of successful marketing / staff functions
11. Regular electronic communication to current and potential customers
12. Assist with in-store advertising – signage, posters, labels, pamphlets, through agency
13. Assist Marketing Manager with all aspects of the loyalty programme
14. Assist Marketing Manager with all promotions and sales at retail divisions
