POSITION INFO:

MARKETING MANAGER (SVP) – (POS)

Area: Aeroton

Salary: R – R1k

To oversee and manage all aspects of the Marketing of the Small Volume Parenteral (SVP) portfolio to ensure Organisational commercial objectives are achieved.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Medical and/or Sciences degree
2. 3 years as a Marketing Manager – Essential
3. Must have experience in (SVP) Small Volume Parenteral
4. Generic experience – Essential
5. Product launch experience – Essential

Overview of duties (not limited to):

1. Implementation of division marketing strategies
2. Analysis of regional sales, competitor and market share data, develop strategies and action plans to maximise sales potential
3. Management of resources i.e. budget, stock, time, systems, sales tools
4. To develop and sustain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to ensure continuous brand loyalty and advocacy.
5. Develop customer proposal/presentation for communication and implementation.
6. In-depth understanding of regional and national trends and customer dynamics
7. Proactive actions to prevent potential threats to business results
8. Understand customer practices and prescribing habits
9. Respond to customer requests and resolve regional issues timeously
10. Coach and develop the sales representatives
11. Frequent customer visits with and without product specialists
12. Analysis and monthly reporting on team performance
13. Monitor and develop action plans to correct underperformance
14. Manage field force effectiveness measure
