Job description

Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager for their team in JHB.

Location:

JHB

Requirements:

  1. BA Marketing (NQF7) or something similar of the same level or higher
  2. Own Transport
  3. Valid Drivers
  4. Ability and willingness to work extended hours at your own initiative/request
  5. 3 years experience in B2B marketing
  6. 1 year experience in logistics/freight/transport
  7. Experience in market research

About the Role:

To develop and give effect to the Marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and ensure visibility within the market on all services offered.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and identify possibilities within the market and improve customer engagement through online platforms and action-agreed items.
  2. Develop a marketing strategy and implementation plan to enhance the company's brand visibility and market penetration of its services.
  3. Implement approved marketing strategies to give effect to the company's marketing initiatives.
  4. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive, multidisciplinary communications programs.
  5. Design, develop, and implement content for electronic notice boards, branding, promotional materials, and websites.
  6. Plan and execute sales and advertising campaigns.
  7. Write and proofread creative copies for various projects and initiatives.
  8. Plan and execute trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to build brand recognition.
  9. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  10. Manage promotional activities and events across all business areas.
  11. Manage relationships with external agencies, media partners, and key industry stakeholders and negotiate advertising contracts.
  12. Drive customer engagement through loyalty programs, promotions, and strategic partnerships.
  13. Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
  14. Monitor trends and audience engagement and provide detailed analyses of our web, social media, and email marketing activities to gauge the effectiveness of the organisation's digital strategies.
  15. Maintain websites and track data analytics.
  16. Collaborate with sales teams to create targeted campaigns that generate high-quality leads.
  17. Develop and nurture client partnerships to generate new revenue streams through comprehensive marketing value-added services.
  18. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
  19. Analyse industry data, market conditions, and customer insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  20. Track and analyse marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.

Salary:

R45, CTC
