Marketing Manager - Kenilworth

The position

U-turn Homeless Ministries is currently recruiting for the position of Marketing Manager reporting directly to the Chief Communications Officer. This role is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy of the organisation, to drive brand awareness, donor engagement and revenue growth in line with the overall strategic goals.

The successful incumbent will lead the marketing team, manage key marketing initiatives, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. They will oversee digital marketing, social media, brand management, content creation, market research, and analytics.

Key Focus Areas:

  1. Ensure consistent brand messaging across channels
  2. Assist CCO in developing and implementing a narrative on homelessness
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners to build brand
  4. Lead digital marketing efforts including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and website management
  5. Leverage digital platforms to drive donor engagement and conversions
  6. Use analytical data to inform marketing decisions and identify new growth opportunities
  7. Events planning and execution
  8. Support CCO in implementing and managing marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, donor acquisition, and retention
  9. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns meet business objectives and deliver measurable results
  10. Develop and implement lead generation strategies to build the donor pipeline
  11. Track the conversion rates from campaigns and optimize efforts to improve performance
  12. Develop partnerships with external partners
  13. Establish clear team and individual goals in line with overall strategy

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior marketing role, of which at least 2 years must be in the NPO sector
  3. Extensive experience in digital marketing, brand management, and campaign execution
  4. Proficient in using marketing analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, website analytics etc.)
