We are now looking for an experienced Marketing Designer to join our dynamic team and help drive our expansion into new markets, including South Africa. As the Marketing Designer, you will play a vital role in creating visually captivating and engaging content for our marketing channels and social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to create and deliver creative concepts and collaborate with the wider marketing team under the guidance of the Marketing Design Lead. You should also have experience in motion graphics and be able to provide examples of your work.

Responsibilities

1. Develop visually appealing content for diverse marketing channels, including Google ads, social media platforms, and display ads, with a focus on achieving both performance and brand marketing goals.
2. Collaborate with our marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas for marketing campaigns. Your designs will play a crucial role in capturing the audience's attention and conveying our brand message effectively.
3. Adapt your design approach to different channels, ensuring that your work is optimized for each platform's unique requirements.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and marketing strategies to ensure our visuals are always on the cutting edge. This includes keeping an eye on trends specific to our industry and target audience.
5. Work closely with our analytics and data teams to gather insights on the performance of your designs. You'll use data-driven insights to continuously improve and refine your work.
6. Produce dynamic and engaging motion graphics to support our marketing initiatives. This includes creating video ads and other motion-based content. You will need to provide examples of your motion graphics work as part of the application process.

Requirements

1. Degree qualified in Graphic Design or a related field.
2. Proficiency in design tools within the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) and other relevant software.
3. Strong creative skills with a portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling visuals across different marketing channels.
4. Proven ability to create and execute motion graphics to create dynamic content for digital marketing. Please include examples of your motion graphics work in your portfolio or application.
5. Familiarity with various marketing platforms and their best design practices, including Google ads, display ads, and social media.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams, so effective communication is key.
7. Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. A knack for generating innovative ideas that align with our marketing objectives.
9. A proactive and self-motivated mindset, always eager to learn and adapt to changing marketing landscapes.
