Marketing Coordinator- Sportscene

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns. This involves scheduling tasks, coordinating with different teams, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
2. Assist with coordination of shoots, in-store activations, and other marketing-related activities.
3. Seasonal brief coordination for the brand.
4. Media plan, exposure, and editorial coverage.
5. Conceptualizing, coordinating, and executing events with the Brand Manager.
6. Manage internal and external brand PR channels - LinkedIn and others.
7. Be the key link with the Sportscene merchandise team on product.
8. Drive internal brand culture, communication plan, and events.
9. Manage CSI for the brand with internal and external stakeholders.
10. Content production for the Sportscene app.
11. Manage the administration of the marketing budget, which includes capturing quotes on the Coupa System.
12. Assist with coordination and delivery of any marketing projects within allocated budget.
13. Conduct customer and market research to drive innovation and ensure we stay current.
14. Project management, invoice processing, and budget tracking.
15. Coordinate and source imagery and product, as well as content for social media.
16. Coordinate tactical weekly/monthly promotions for retail, social media, and digital platforms.
17. Work closely with the social media team to maintain and update all social media platforms and community management.
18. Monitor and report on consumer and competitor trends.
19. Track the performance of marketing campaigns, gathering data and preparing reports to evaluate their effectiveness.

Qualifications And Experience

1. 2-3 years experience.
2. Marketing/Media or Fashion qualification.
3. A customer-obsessed mindset and Brand Love!
4. Up to date with the latest developments and trends in fashion, music, and South African culture, with a love for fashion and culture.

Skills

1. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and an interest in fashion and street culture.
2. Good understanding of marketing trends.
3. An eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.
4. Ability to make decisions, meet deadlines, and be results-driven in a fast-paced, high-performance team without supervision.
5. Confidence to influence and persuade at all levels.
6. Resilience and emotional maturity.
7. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
