Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns. This involves scheduling tasks, coordinating with different teams, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Assist with coordination of shoots, in-store activations, and other marketing-related activities.
  • Seasonal brief coordination for the brand.
  • Media plan, exposure, and editorial coverage.
  • Conceptualizing, coordinating, and executing events with the Brand Manager.
  • Manage internal and external brand PR channels - LinkedIn and others.
  • Be the key link with the Sportscene merchandise team on product.
  • Drive internal brand culture, communication plan, and events.
  • Manage CSI for the brand with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Content production for the Sportscene app.
  • Manage the administration of the marketing budget, which includes capturing quotes on the Coupa System.
  • Assist with coordination and delivery of any marketing projects within the allocated budget. Conduct customer and market research to drive innovation and ensure we stay current.
  • Project management, invoice processing, and budget tracking.
  • Coordinate sourcing of imagery and product, as well as content for social media.
  • Coordinate tactical weekly/monthly promotions for retail, social media, and digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the social media team to maintain and update all social media platforms and community management.
  • Monitor and report on consumer and competitor trends.
  • Track the performance of marketing campaigns by gathering data and preparing reports to evaluate effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience.
  • Marketing/Media or Fashion qualification.
  • A customer-obsessed mindset and Brand Love!
  • Up to date with the latest developments and trends in fashion, music, and South African culture, along with a love for fashion and culture.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and an interest in fashion and street culture.
  • Good understanding of marketing trends.
  • An eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to make decisions, meet deadlines, and be results-driven in a fast-paced, high-performance team without the need for supervision.
  • Confidence to influence and persuade at all levels.
  • Resilience and emotional maturity.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
