Marketing Coordinator and Assistant

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BCom or BTech in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
2. 5 years minimum of work experience.
3. At least 3 years of relevant accounting and asset management experience.
4. Experience and knowledge in IFRS, PFMA, and asset management policies.
5. Experience in financial accounting systems (Sage300 and Oracle).

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for monthly reconciliations, including:
2. Preparation
3. Clearing unresolved issues
4. Red flag issues and escalation of issues
5. Preparation of reconciliations and disclosure requirements specifically required for year-end appropriate disclosure
6. Responsible for the Fixed Asset register
7. Invoicing
8. Month-end and Year-end journals
9. Back-up to Bookkeeper / Accountant
10. Internal controls & Year-end processes; maintain the highest standard of internal control environment
11. Resolution of internal and external audit findings
