Marketing Co-Ordinator (Winning Form) - Umhlanga

Winning Form has an exciting opportunity available for a Marketing Co-Ordinator to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing support structure to all Operational Management teams within the group of businesses and assisting with queries, requests, and enquiries relating to Marketing and Sales strategies and performance. Reviewing of financial budgets within each entity, and analyzing ROI on budgeted spend on marketing initiatives. Assisting in management of digital presence and formulating strategies collaboratively with Operations to drive results. The co-ordination of all marketing activities and responsible for creating and delivering marketing ideas and activities. Concepts and creates marketing materials, manages projects, and ensures company messages are consistent.

Minimum requirements:

1. 2-3 Years in a Marketing related position.
2. Valid Driver’s License.
3. Diploma/Degree in Marketing or related field.

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with Operations on formulating strategies for implementation.
2. Take ownership of all marketing initiatives and project lead to completion.
3. Daily, weekly, monthly reporting for social media and website stats to Management teams.
4. Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analysing strategy objectives and sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organising promotional presentations; updating calendars.
5. Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
6. Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.
7. Creation and management of social media presence and digital strategies aligned to marketing ideas and plans.
8. Looking for activation opportunities.
9. Assisting with projects/events.
10. Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials.
11. Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
12. Improve communication efficiencies within the company.

Marketing:

1. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced growing environment.
2. Manage data security and accessibility.
3. Will be required to travel intermittently.
4. Strong financial acumen and the ability to read income, expenditure and budget statements.
5. Ability to work well with others to ensure seamless rollout of campaigns.
