Marketing and Brand Strategist (JB5123)
R18 000 - R25 000 CTC per month

Our client, a premium salon brand that is redefining hair health, is looking for a marketing and brand strategist to help them establish a strong brand recognition and digital presence.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an independent, self-driven environment. You will be responsible for building brand recognition, managing social media, and executing digital marketing campaigns that position the client as a luxury salon brand. You will also collaborate with marketing teams, engage with influencers, and manage in-salon promotions and events.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Remote office setup
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
  3. 3 - 5 years experience in branding, digital strategy, or public relations (preferably in beauty, fashion, or luxury industries)
  4. Proven track record of growing brand awareness
  5. Social media management experience
  6. Knowledge of paid advertising, SEO, and digital marketing trends
  7. Basic graphic design and video editing skills

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute high-impact marketing strategies to strengthen brand recognition.
  2. Create and implement monthly marketing themes.
  3. Ensure consistent, premium brand messaging across all platforms.
  4. Develop PR strategies and position the brand in beauty publications, blogs, and media.
  5. Manage and grow the social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  6. Oversee content creation, graphics, and short-form videos.
  7. Engage with followers, manage online reputation, and leverage user-generated content.
  8. Collaborate with influencers, beauty bloggers, and PR agencies to expand brand reach.
  9. Ensure consistent posting schedules for blogs, social media updates, and marketing campaigns.
  10. Plan and execute targeted ad campaigns (Google, Meta, Instagram) to boost visibility.
  11. Optimize Google My Business and SEO strategies to enhance searchability.
  12. Monitor performance metrics and make data-driven improvements.
  13. Build relationships with influencers, product brands, and beauty experts.
  14. Strengthen the client’s presence within the beauty college and TikTok community.
  15. Organize in-salon events, influencer activations, and promotional campaigns.
  16. Develop a local engagement strategy to boost brand loyalty and referrals.
  17. Support community-driven marketing initiatives to increase word-of-mouth recommendations.
