Job description

We are seeking a data-driven Marketing Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data to provide actionable insights that enhance decision-making across the marketing department.

You will play a key role in optimizing marketing strategies, improving campaign performance, and identifying opportunities for business growth. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with expertise in data analysis, market research, and digital marketing analytics.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Implement tracking mechanisms to gather data from multiple sources, including marketing campaigns, website analytics, print media, social media, email marketing, call centre, and custom-built apps.
  2. Analyse performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to customer behavior, campaign effectiveness, and market conditions.
  3. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on Qliksense to track key performance indicators (KPIs), including leads, conversion rates, website traffic, and social media engagement.
  4. Identify and investigate data anomalies and discrepancies proactively.
  5. Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive marketing strategy.
  6. Research and recommend marketing automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  7. Build and deploy data pipelines and models to automate reporting and analytical processes.
  8. Perform competitive analysis to identify industry trends and areas for differentiation.
  9. Provide insights into customer segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  1. Experience using Google Analytics for tracking, analysing, and reporting on website and campaign performance.
  2. Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
  3. Proven experience in marketing analysis, data analysis, or a similar role.
  4. Experience with digital marketing campaigns, online user behavior analysis, and multi-channel attribution.
  5. Experience with analytics tools such as QlikSense and other BI platforms.
  6. Proficiency in data visualization tools and statistical analysis techniques and software such as SPSS, SAS, or Excel.
  7. Familiarity with predictive modeling and forecasting techniques.

Package & Remuneration:

Negotiable based on experience.

Location:

SAC Commercial Parts Warehouse, Broederstroom, North West

Working hours are from 07:00 to 16:30.
