Qualifications / Requirements:

1. Minimum of B Degree – Mechanical Engineering from an accredited tertiary institution
2. ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
3. High level of proficiency in MS Office
4. Good communications, influencing and collaborative demeanor
5. Professional appearance and provide a positive company image to various stakeholders
6. Ability to work under pressure
7. Display initiative and a positive attitude
8. Implementing fixed asset maintenance software (FAMS)
9. Implementing production processes on ERP software
10. Develop/implement control strategies
11. Project management
12. Process engineering
13. Control systems
14. Human-machine interfaces
15. Proven experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar role
16. Extensive and solid experience in a manufacturing environment
17. Extensive maintenance experience in mechanical and electrical systems (electronics and instrumentation)
18. Developing maintenance schedules and monitor machine availability and performance
19. Production planning/monitoring on an ERP system experience
20. Exposure to ISO9001

2. Process modelling, programmable logic controllers (PLC’s)
3. Good communication and organisational skills
4. Outstanding influencing and interpersonal abilities
5. Excellent organisational and leadership skills and qualities

7. Able to perform administrative functions effectively

Key Performance Areas:

1. Responsible for creating, implementing, testing, updating and maintaining production equipment processes and the systems used to monitor, control and regulate operations and processes
2. Optimise procedures to increase efficiency and profitability
3. Automate processes in the plant and retrofit existing equipment to new functions
4. Integrate process controls for maintenance and planning on all production equipment
5. Integrate internet of things with the ERP system to automate maintenance schedules and manage process parameters
6. Create production plans for the team based on historical and market data
7. Integrate production plan and maintenance schedule in the ERP system
