Coordination of mechanical designs and final sign-off (Hardware/Packaging/Quality requirements/etc)
Input towards BOMs compliance for each product line
Technical assistance for all design changes
Quality control for all final products and sign off
Planning and coordination of Job Cards to be issued from Kits to be received from Stores
Assist production staff with technical guidance and planning for completion
Ensure the delivery of the People Strategy within area of accountability
Manage, coach and develop a high performing manufacturing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements
Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required
Qualifications:
Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Mechatronics is beneficial
3-5 Years relevant experience
Project management experience
Production Management experience
Lean manufacturing qualification is beneficial
Extensive plant level experience with significant proven supervisory experience
Technical understanding
Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Kaizen, lean manufacturing
Experience of managing Profit & Loss responsibilities for manufacturing
