About Our Client

Our client is a Belgian actor in the industrial sector, who grew from a family business to an international company active worldwide.

Today, they operate in almost 50 countries with around 13,000 employees and a total revenue of 4 billion €.

In order to support the development of one of their BU, we are currently looking for a Plant Finance Business Partner / Manufacturing Controller.

Their plant is based in the Flemish Brabant.

Job Description

Manufacturing Controller (Manager) - Flemish Brabant

As the Plant Finance Business Partner, you report to Plant Manager and to the Head of Finance Business Partner Manufacturing (Europe).

Your main role is to provide financial leadership to the Belgian factory by contributing to the plant management and animating action plans to improve financial performance.

Your tasks include Financial & Operational Controls, Reporting & Analysis, Investment Management, Operational Excellence, and Leadership:

• Being part of the Plant Management Team and acting as a Finance Business Partner to them
• Managing, developing, and animating a team of 2 Cost Controllers
• Preparing a 3-year operational objective development plan in line with the group objectives taking into account the financial risks & opportunities
• Reviewing the plant financial forecast following group guidelines
• Reporting and communicating the closing results to the operational and financial leadership teams
• Overseeing the Cost Performance Tracker process, ensuring monthly tracking of all projects
• Owning the financial aspects of the CAPEX process for plant projects and actively participating in capex opportunity and feasibility studies
• Reviewing standard costing implemented in SAP/BPC and ensuring alignment on method and timing for production cost calculation and other industrial cost booking and forecasting
• Monitoring effective internal controls, data integrity, asset protection, and adherence to group policies.

The Successful Applicant

Plant Finance Business Partner - Flemish Brabant

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance / Management / Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of financial experience (external audit or controlling)
• Experience in Manufacturing / Industrial / Cost / Plant Controlling is a strong asset
• A first people management experience is a great asset
• Fluency in Dutch & English
• Good SAP knowledge
• Analytical & problem-solving mindset
• Good Business Partnering and communication skills
• Open to travel occasionally (5-10%).
