Managing Director

THIS ROLE IS BASED IN KAMPALA, UGANDA.

Lexdan Select is assisting a manufacturing business, owned by a European company, with their search for a MD.

A full expat package will be offered to the successful individual.

The Managing Director role is being hired to assist the company to transition the business from working and offering their product lines into the public sector, into the private and retail/consumer markets.

The company currently makes a net profit of 500 000 USD, with over 125 employees.

The role will focus on:

• commercial acumen
• people management
• commercial strategy + open new sales channels
• proven management skills
• lead a business in a challenging environment
• drive strategies to unlock new revenue streams

We require a candidate with:

• a minimum of 8 years experience in manufacturing, retail or wholesale
• experience in distributing consumer products in the Sub-Saharan region
• driving sales of consumer products
• managing a business unit / business and improving efficiencies

The salary on offer for the role is 80 000 USD + expat benefits.
