Job Description Summary:

Position Overview: The Coca-Cola Company’s purpose is to refresh the world and make a difference. Our sustainability goals are embedded in how we operate as a business and are part of our foundation. Each year, we aggregate thousands of data points on our quality, safety, and environmental (QSE) performance from facilities across our global system. This data is critical to understand and report progress against our QSE performance indicators and our sustainability goals. To enable data-driven improvement processes for our Sustainability & QSE metrics, we are seeking a Supplier Quality and Data Analytics Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:

  • Develop and implement a unified supplier database for authorized primary packaging and ingredient suppliers across Africa.
  • Develop a comprehensive tracker for material testing (CO2, Sugar & RPET) and GFSI certificates for authorized suppliers.
  • Ensure that the supplier contact database is maintained and updated as required.
  • Ensure that the authorized supplier list (ASL) is updated and accessible on SharePoint for Bottling Operations.
  • Follow up with authorized primary packaging and ingredient suppliers to ensure timely submission of GFSI certificates as input to the supplier authorization process.
  • Regularly update the supplier data tracker with the latest GFSI certificates for both packaging and ingredient suppliers.
  • Ensure timely testing of CO2 and Sugar at an approved Coca-Cola laboratory required of Ingredient suppliers.
  • Follow up on out of specification test results by ensuring that corrective and preventive action is taken by the supplier.
  • Record and update test results in the supplier data tracker as input to the supplier authorization process.
  • Responsible for formal communication to 3rd party auditors assigned to audits and suppliers selected for a KORE technical audit.
  • Responsible for updating the audit tracker with audit outcomes as input into the supplier risk rating tool (SRRT). Follow up with suppliers to ensure corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans have been submitted for review and implementation.

Data Quality Management in P.I.C.A.S.S.O for Africa OU:

  • Initiate new package approval processes.
  • Manage primary package specifications data (e.g., bottles, cartons).
  • Manage sourcing approvals data for new packs in Picasso database.
  • Ensure complete and updated supporting documents for suppliers.
  • Create new & update current Picasso Specifications for changes in weight, size, SKU, and brand standards.

Data Analytics:

  • Rebuild data architecture for improved access and analytics.
  • Manage QSE data collection from bottling partners for reporting within required timeframes.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and completeness in KOSMOS for external reports.
  • Participate in cross-functional routines for reporting.
  • Monitor and drive efficiency in the data management process.
  • Analyze collected data for accuracy and completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data governance.
  • Enhance system capability using digital platforms.

Quality Management:

  • Work with KORE senior manager to support compliance and drive improvement.
  • Collaborate with Technical team around quality management requirements.
  • Support with controlled document management and updates (Technical Bulletins, Nutritional Information and Mixing Instructions).
  • Develop automation for document control and other quality management processes i.e. internal audit scheduling and management.

Trade Sampling Program:

  • Coordinate with QFS managers and samplers, manage data capture from labs, and generate reports.

Training and Capacity Building:

  • Enhance data literacy and provide KOSMOS platform training in French and English.
  • Support teams in understanding the importance of accurate data collection and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and MS Excel; exposure to Microsoft Low/No-Code tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
  • Strong skills in data analytics, trend analysis, and insights development.
  • Experience in corporate reporting of energy, greenhouse gas emissions, and applying the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
  • Ability to handle various file types such as .csv, JSON, XML, Parquet, and Delta Lake.
  • Competence in translating complex data into simple reports and insights.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for technical information to global teams.
  • Experience in Master Data Management and Data Governance.
  • Understanding of QSE and sustainability metrics, concepts, and practices.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Flow, MS Form, SharePoint, Alteryx, and Minitab.
