About The RolePlay a pivotal strategic leadership role in shaping and executing card’s strategic vision by focusing on process, quality, implementation and governance of the card ecosystem while keeping abreast with the competitive landscape and emerging trends.
Apply a blended skill set of operations and cardholder experience expertise that will be critical for creating, managing, executing and measuring the cardholder experience strategy of the card division.
Enhance Cardholder Experience For Capitec Retail Clients Through:- Managing the execution of the Card Payment Operations strategy
- Operationalizing card payment processes
- Driving operational efficiencies and improvements
- Represent card operations with stakeholders in Capitec Retail
Lead and manage the Retail card operations team, accountable for optimizing functional performance through business planning, budgets, goals and metrics, people, standards, principles and processes.
What You Will Be Doing:- Oversee the implementation and execution of our card payment operations strategy to ensure seamless and efficient processes
- Develop and refine card payment processes to ensure they are effective and user-friendly for our clients.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as the primary representative for card operations, engaging with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any concerns or opportunities.
- Lead a dedicated team, optimizing their performance through effective business planning, budgeting, goal setting, and metrics.
- Ensure adherence to high standards, principles, and processes to achieve optimal functional performance.
Minimum Experience:- Bachelors Degree in Commerce or Business Management
- 5 years general operational experience in a card / payment operations environment
- Previous leadership / ownership experience
- Proven experience of using influence and relationships to drive and achieve objectives.
Ideal:- 5+ years general operational experience in a card / payment operations environment
- Specific card payments experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience in Capitec Bank.
