Job Overview

My client is an award-winning supplier of premium automotive accessories to the Sub-Saharan Africa and Middle Eastern markets. They manufacture and supply mats and related accessory products using top-quality materials and craftsmanship to OEM, CBU, and aftermarket principals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Salary: R20,000 - R30,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Management: Coordinating the entire supply chain process, from procurement of raw materials to delivery of finished products.
2. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, optimizing inventory turnover, and ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demands without excess.
3. Warehousing: Overseeing warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, while maintaining inventory accuracy.
4. Cost Management: Identifying opportunities to reduce transportation costs, minimize inventory holding costs, and improve overall logistics efficiency.
5. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate them, such as implementing contingency plans for disruptions in transportation or supply.
6. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards related to transportation, customs, and trade.
7. Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service to optimize logistics processes and meet organizational goals.

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 7:00 am to 6:00 pm; Friday: 7:00 am to 12:30 pm

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Supply Chain, Inventory, and Procurement experience essential. Excel experience is a must; Pastel will be a bonus.
