Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Fraud Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Trade and Working capital, with additional experience in Audit or Operational risk. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of a proactive fraud prevention and detection strategy for our pan-Africa business.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Fraud Strategy Manager in developing and implementing a robust fraud control framework.
  2. Monitor and continuously evaluate fraud controls within designated responsibility areas in the lending environment.
  3. Ensure fraud losses are minimized and fraud risks are proactively controlled, in compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulations.
  4. Identify fraud vulnerabilities in end-to-end processes and assist in initiating remediation programs as required.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to manage and mitigate fraud risks effectively.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  1. NQF 7 or degree, or NQF 6 National Diploma or Equivalent.
  2. Qualification in Fraud discipline, CFE preferred.
  3. At least 5 years of experience in Financial Services or a related industry.
  4. Fraud-related experience is advantageous.
  5. Trade experience is advantageous.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  1. Strong communication and team skills.
  2. Excellent networking and influencing skills.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Fraud Risk Principles and Practices, specifically card fraud.
  4. Understanding of Risk and Compliance concepts.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  7. Ability to work independently.

Education

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
