Requirements:

1. A postgraduate degree (e.g., honours, postgraduate diploma, or master's) in education, educational technology, instructional technology and design, online learning design, or a closely related field.
2. Three years’ recent and relevant working experience in an educational context (preferably in a higher education institution or business school) within the field of online/hybrid learning design.
3. Experience must demonstrate the ability to operate at a senior level, including designing, implementing, and evaluating online or hybrid learning initiatives in collaboration with academic staff or educators.
4. Proven management experience, including leading a team, overseeing performance management, and driving strategic goals in a dynamic and innovative environment.
5. Understanding learning theory and practice, and experience in creating digital content (e.g., videos, SCORMs, podcasts, interactive digital content).
6. Proficiency in using and supporting a learning management system and other learning technologies.
7. Experience using video streaming and online collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
8. Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with high attention to detail.

Recommendations:

1. Project management experience on relevant projects (i.e. educational technologies or online learning design).
2. Evidence of continued development/training regarding technology-enriched learning.
3. Experience in graphic design, website design or programming.
