A leading manufacturer specializing in cosmetics and skincare products is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime and optimizing efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

Minimum Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or certification in maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred
2. Proven experience as a maintenance technician, particularly in a manufacturing or production environment
3. Experience in the cosmetics or skincare manufacturing industry is advantageous
4. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
5. Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
6. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
7. Strong problem-solving abilities
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to identify and address issues promptly
2. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of production equipment
3. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems and implement effective repairs
4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections
5. Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks
7. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
8. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
9. Provide training to junior technicians or production staff on proper equipment use and maintenance procedures
10. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime
