Job Description

Position: Maintenance Planning Engineer (GCC) – Krugersdorp – R58 300ctc

Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering Degree. Government Certificate of Competency (GCC).

Experience: Minimum 7 years in maintenance planning or asset management in a Chemical production environment.

Skills Required:

1. Maintenance management software systems.
2. Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
3. Project management.
4. Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles.
5. Planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance plans and strategies to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of equipment and facilities within an organization, analyzing maintenance data, coordinating with cross-functional teams, minimizing downtime, and managing detailed maintenance schedules to optimize asset lifespan and performance. You will also be responsible for managing stock levels of spare parts, usage, ordering parts, and conducting stock checks.
