Assisting with identifying and sourcing of spare parts. Assisting customers with detailed quotes on mid-life’s, planned exchanges and forecasting of components. Tracking of every component exchange on mining machines in assigned area. Gathering and updating of component exchanges information from field.
Responsibilities
- Manage parts on SEU programme.
- Parts planning from midlife’s scheduled exchanges etc.
- Gathering of component information in the field: component lifetimes, exchange reasons, working conditions, failure modes, repaired information update on LISA programme.
- Generate corresponding reports.
- Build up confidence-based relationship with the customers that will allow gathering additional component exchange information and will encourage the customer to perform planned maintenance action.
- Perform periodic visits to mine sites in order to share information with customers, maintenance strategies and forecasting plans.
- Work in coordination with other areas of the company: component Workshop, field service: warehouses and management.
- Attend meetings with customers on budget forecasting, component histories and planned exchanges.
- Planning of components to maintain sufficient stock levels. (LCC)
- Ensure compliance with Legislation, company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Education & Qualification
Certificate/Diploma in Maintenance Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering or Customer Service with a minimum 3–4-year related experience in parts, counter sales, inventory control, logistics, and supply Chain.
