Maintenance Manager
MinimumRequirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field required.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a maintenance management position.
- In-depth understanding of engineering principles, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical schematics.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic environment and handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations and growth of the Maintenance Department.
- Identify training needs and resources for the Maintenance Department, managing the Versatility Matrix as needed.
- Assess and review the performance of the Maintenance Department.
- Assist in setting and achieving the Business Unit's goals and objectives.
- Develop and track the Preventive Maintenance Plan for the Business Unit.
- Ensure proper reporting and tracking of maintenance performance indicators.
- Maintain an organised and clean work area, while promoting 5S methodology throughout the company.
- Ensure facilities, equipment, and machinery are kept in good working order.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and strive to reduce natural resource consumption.
- Be vigilant for any actual or potential environmental impacts.
- Schedule, train, and lead the team of maintenance employees, ensuring motivation and efficiency.
- Manage repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates for accuracy.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures within the department.
