Maintenance Manager

Company based in Durban KZN is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team. The suitable incumbent will be responsible for the undermentioned Key Performance Areas:

1. Managing the Maintenance Department (a team of Artisans) and the work done by external contractors
2. Managing the Operational Plan of the department
3. Ensure that all organizational infrastructure, plant machinery and equipment is maintained in line with both quality and Health and Safety Standards
4. Managing and reporting on the Operational and CAPEX budget
5. Management and Financial Reporting
6. Health and Safety Compliance of facilities and equipment
7. Overseeing projects from implementation to completion from Operational / Maintenance Plan
8. Fulfilling the role of the Competent Person as per the General machinery Regulations

1. A Graduated Engineer with a relevant Engineering Qualification (electrical or mechanical) with a Certificate of Competency (GCC)
2. A minimum of five (5) years Managerial experience

Be able to:

1. Evaluate and align performance with the organization objectives and take corrective actions.
2. Influence and mobilize a team towards achievement of objectives, planning, leading, organizing and controlling work effectively
3. Formulate appropriate medium and long-term future solutions to all Maintenance and Infrastructure related matters
