Job Title: Maintenance Account Manager – Construction & Renovation

Location: South Africa-based (Remote)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, aligned to UK hours
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: R30,000 per month
Holidays: UK Bank Holidays

About the Role

Are you an experienced professional with a background in construction or property renovation? We’re looking for a Maintenance Account Manager to join our team. You’ll be the pivotal link ensuring all construction and maintenance activities are executed smoothly across multiple sites in the UK. This is a role for someone who thrives on organization, communication, and problem-solving, with the ability to manage costs, schedules, and teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & Coordination: Organize and schedule construction workers, engineers, and maintenance teams for multiple sites across the UK.
  • Administrative Excellence: Maintain up-to-date records, invoices, and job cards, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily accessible.
  • Client Management: Serve as the go-to person for clients, handling bookings and resolving queries with professionalism.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs to ensure all budgets are adhered to.
  • Team Oversight: Manage construction workers and contractors, ensuring they are meeting expectations and timelines.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular updates on project progress, costs, and workforce allocation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Construction/Renovation Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in managing construction or renovation projects.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong personality with the ability to manage, motivate, and coordinate diverse teams.
  • Administrative Proficiency: Exceptional organization skills with experience in maintaining records, invoices, and schedules.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving issues, maintaining efficiency, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using project management tools, spreadsheets, and invoicing software.
