OVERALL PURPOSE
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone that wants to work on one of Lula's newest products that has the potential to change the B2B payments space in South Africa!
Lulapay is a BNPL product for B2B transactions. Lulapay partners with B2B distributors and suppliers in order to offer flexible terms to their customers on invoices and statements. You will be the driving force in helping Lulapay scale quickly and successfully through partnerships.
You will be joining a lean start-up team within Lula that is responsible for making this product a success.

You will be key to developing, implementing and managing an end-to-end sales process to find, attract, onboard, and nurture partners for Lulapay.
Responsibilities will span from research and lead generation to cold outreach, onboarding and account management. High-level tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of the Lulapay product and operational processes.
- Investigate and pinpoint key industries and markets suitable for targeting.
- Establish and manage a continuous flow of potential leads.
- Initiate outreach efforts through cold calling, emailing, and networking to effectively recruit and onboard partners.
- Cultivate strong relationships to foster growth with each partner.
- Deliver regular feedback internally to support ongoing enhancement of the Lulapay product.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Proven track record of dedication and a strong work ethic, demonstrated through internships, projects, or prior roles.
- Strong interest in B2B sales, particularly in cold calling and business development.
- Confidence in outbound sales outreach, with the ability to initiate conversations and drive interest with potential clients.
- Ability to conduct market and industry research to identify new business opportunities and understand client needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including data entry, CRM management, and tracking outreach efforts.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships virtually and in-person.
- Desire to learn and grow within a sales and business development environment.
- Attention to detail, especially in managing lead lists, scheduling follow-ups, and updating CRM systems.
