Description: Southern Fruit Growers, with their head office in Somerset West, is seeking a detail-oriented and systematic Logistics Coordinator, with proven experience in logistics systems and procedures, to join their team.

The incumbent will report directly to the Logistics Manager.

Duties will include:

1. Provide inputs to pre-season planning
2. Action stock allocations and follow up on any discrepancies
3. Create loading instructions and book containers
4. Liaise with third parties to coordinate loading instructions and update loading status
5. Finalise shipment details on ERP system
6. Generate and distribute documentation (addendums / packing lists / intakes)
7. Schedule transport
8. Handle client queries as required
9. Send shipment reports
10. Support the claims process
11. All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

1. Relevant tertiary qualification in logistics;
2. 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, specifically in the fruit export industry;
3. Excellent computer literacy (specifically MS Excel);
4. Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);
5. Valid driver's license.
