Lodge Manager Hluhluwe

An exclusive-use house at a 5-star lodge near Hluhluwe is looking for an experienced lodge manager.

Experience required:

1. Knowledge or experience in running a lodge/camp as well as previous experience in the hospitality industry
2. Hotel Management Degree or equivalent – beneficial
3. Management skills
4. Understand and manage budgets, GPs and finances
5. The ability to coordinate the day-to-day operations of a camp to provide superior service and quality to the guests
6. Valid South African drivers licence

Duties include:

1. Quality Control
2. Problem-solving
3. Communicate with staff and other departments
4. Guest Satisfaction
5. Implement and Follow the BOPS
6. Managing stock control
7. Managing Bar service and control
8. Management of guest activities
9. Management of guest experience
10. Overall hospitality and food
11. Overseeing general appearance and management of maintenance issues
12. Drive community development projects
13. Understand and manage budgets
14. Knowledge and understanding of PAN Strat
15. Co-ordinate staff and equipment
16. Training of the Staff
17. Staff Skills Development
