We are looking for a dynamic and professional LLB-qualified Attorney to join our team in the Conveyancing Department. Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal support in the conveyancing department, specifically related to bond registrations, property transactions, and other conveyancing matters.
Liaise with clients, agents, and other stakeholders to bring in new work and maintain existing client relationships.
Manage a caseload of bond registrations and related legal matters, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Support senior attorneys and other legal professionals within the firm in the delivery of high-quality legal services.
Develop and grow business opportunities, including expanding relationships with agents and clients to generate new work for the firm.
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
LLB degree from a recognized institution.
Admitted Attorney (South African qualification).
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively liaise with clients, agents, and other legal professionals.
BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) candidate as per company requirements.
Experience:
No prior experience is required – this role is ideal for a newly qualified attorney looking to grow their career in a supportive environment.
Prior experience in conveyancing is not a requirement, although an interest in property law is advantageous.
