Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Livestock Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of feedlot operations at Farm Manager SA.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing feedlot personnel, overseeing cattle handling and mustering, ensuring optimal performance and maintaining a clean working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all feedlot operations including staff supervision, cattle management, maintenance and housekeeping.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and animal welfare.
• Maintain accurate records of feedlot operations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• Agricultural background (cattle) essential.
• Minimum 5 years experience in feedlot management or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
