Role Description
On behalf of our client, Propela is hiring a Practice Nurse to join a team of four physicians at two prestigious hospitals. This is an excellent opportunity for professional development in a variety of clinical settings.

Primary Location
Main base: Glynnwood Hospital
Secondary location: Arwyp Hospital (1-2 days initially)

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage pre-operative clinic duties
2. Conduct vital signs measurements including blood glucose testing, weight and height measurements, hip and waist circumference measurements
3. Perform point-of-care testing (HbA1c and lipograms)
4. Conduct urinalysis
5. Execute various cardiac monitoring procedures (ECG, FLOOP, Exercise stress testing)
6. 24-hour blood pressure monitoring
7. Opportunity to participate in clinical trial work

Required Skills and Qualities

1. Registered nurse qualification
2. Strong technical aptitude for medical systems
3. Excellent patient communication skills
4. Efficiency in clinical procedures
5. Professional and courteous demeanour
6. Willingness to learn and develop new skills
