You will support our legal team by providing administrative and secretarial assistance related to matters involving Road Accident Fund matters and litigation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with the RAF and litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting attorneys with document preparation, proofreading, and formatting.
• Manage and organise legal files and documents, both electronically and physically.
• Scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates.
• Communicating with clients, court personnel, and other law firms.
• Handling general administrative tasks, such as data entry and phone correspondence.
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
• Willingness to travel locally.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Matric/ Grade 12
• A bachelor’s degree would be advantageous.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role is preferred, and preference will be given to candidates with experience working with the RAF and litigation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Afrikaans required).
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Own reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
