We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in the Johannesburg, Gauteng area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Legal Department.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Performing support functions to the Legal Department which include coordinating and preparing documents for meetings, circulation of agreements for review/signature, updating of tracker sheets to manage circulation of legal documentation, minute taking, assisting with statutory compliance processes, archiving and retrieval of historical files, compilation and coordination of legal registers.
  2. Liaison and communication with Company Secretary, Auditors, Attorneys, Town Planners, Surveyors and other internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:

  1. A 3-year relevant tertiary qualification (Admin/Paralegal).
Minimum Experience:

  1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a legal environment.
  2. English proficiency and good writing skills.
  3. MS Office proficiency, including Excel, PowerPoint, WinDeed and others.

  1. Ability to drill into the detail of issues to determine root cause whilst considering urgency, importance, risk and reward factors.
  2. Ability to adhere to rules and regulations, follow instructions and limit risk of non-compliance to the business.
  3. Ability to create shared meaning by clearly and confidently communicating the relevant information to a decision or task, in a verbal format.
  4. Ability to work consistently hard to achieve deliverables and honour commitments made.
