As the first commercial hire for the company, the Head of Sales will establish and lead the company's European commercial strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with medical and hospital leaders across Europe.
- Establish a sales pipeline targeting private hospitals, medical centres, and ECG vendors.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences alongside a member of the medical team.
- Work closely with founders and board members to align commercial strategy with company vision.
- Create and manage sales forecasts and revenue projections.
- Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Work hands-on in going to market, completing the necessary groundwork needed for product launch.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure consistent messaging.
- Recognise key areas for market growth to develop and successfully implement new business models for the company.
- Keep up to date with the Medical Devices market and trends, including competitor analysis and others selling software to medical institutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven track record of building and scaling commercial operations with ECG medical devices or software, ideally in new markets.
- Demonstrated expertise in product launch execution, including market entry strategy implementation and pre-launch operational preparation.
- Strong network within the Medical Device industry and established connections with medical and hospital leaders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices in European markets.
- Understanding of medical device and software purchasing cycles and decision-making processes.
