The IIE Varsity College, Durban North Campus has a vacancy for a part-time lecturer for the School of Management:

• Introduction to Accounting (INAC5111)

Competencies Required:

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent time management (meeting dates and deadlines timeously)

Minimum Education Requirements:

Ideal:

• 3 Year Diploma / Degree in Accounting

Alternatively:

• 3-year Diploma in one of the Business-related fields with Accounting or Financial Management up to the second-year level.
• Advanced Certificate in Accounting/ Financial Management.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• Lecturing experience in accounting, work experience in the fields of financial management/ asset management/ accountant/ financial advisor/ asset manager

Working Conditions:

• This is an Independent Contractor role
• This is a part-time position with lectures taking place between 08:00 -17:00, Monday to Friday.
• Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
