Purpose Statement
To provide the regions and franchisees with support within the casual dining and quick services operating environment with consolidated leasing information and benchmarking to allow for effective management of key landlord relationships and assistance with lease negotiations where required.

Duties & Responsibilities

MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:

1. Build and maintain positive relationships and secure and track expansion opportunities with property owners and leasing agents through regular Landlord portfolio reviews.

1. Set annual rental benchmarking for new leases and renewals on all restaurant formats and translate this to the Lease Savings Budget.
2. Set annual lease savings budget and track and report performance to the budget monthly.
3. Host annual start-up leasing strategy sessions with the regions to identify restaurants for closures, relocation, re-sizing and renewals and formulate and publish a succinct leasing strategy for trading formats.
4. Negotiate portfolio lease renewals as mandated by the Franchisees with Landlords where required.
5. Deliver gross reduction in rent across the renewed leases in line with Lease Savings targets.
6. Assist in establishing the viability of specific restaurants.
7. Ensure all renewal and new leases are timeously negotiated and professionally compiled.
8. Consolidate and manage a national view of the lease database on FIS, which allows management to have an overview of the franchise estate lease life cycle.
9. Provide input into the budgeting process and manage costs.
10. Provide leasing training to our regional teams on a quarterly basis and when required.
11. Ensure data integrity and improve research related to leasing.
12. Required to travel regionally to spend time with the respective ME's and regional operations teams on property and leasing.

1. Required to lead and manage the leasing administrator and ensure that the property team receives all the administrative support it requires.

1. Bachelor's Degree in a Property related field.

1. 5 Years' experience in leasing or property management environment.
2. Experience in a Franchising Environment would be beneficial.

3. Familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
