Job description

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for proactively identifying and engaging potential customers in designated communities to generate interest in our fibre internet services. This role involves direct face-to-face interaction with residents through door-to-door outreach requiring strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach. The Lead Generation Specialist will report to a team leader and play a crucial role in creating leads for our internal sales team to convert. Own transport is essential.

Requirements

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Door-to-Door Outreach: Engage with residents in assigned communities to introduce and generate interest in our fiber internet services, clearly communicating the benefits and features.
  2. Targeted Coverage: Follow designated routes to maximize community outreach and identify potential customers.
  3. Customer Education: Provide valuable information about the advantages of fiber internet, addressing any questions or concerns from potential customers.
  4. Lead Reporting: Accurately report and document potential customer details, feedback, and market insights after each shift.
  5. Positive Impressions: Build positive relationships with potential customers, leaving a favorable impression of our company.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  2. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  3. Ability to walk for extended periods and navigate designated routes
  4. Experience in sales or customer service is a plus
  5. Dependable and punctual
  6. Own transport is essential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From R3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Requirements for role: Minimum of two years of previous outbound dialing experience in telesales or customer service is required. Matric needed. Full fibre internet connection of 20mbps or more. No criminal record. Experience with outbound CRM systems is essential. A track record of meeting or exceeding targets previously required. Work from home set up essential. Headset and working video camera essential for team meetings. UPS/Inverter required for Loadshedding. Afrikaans is essential.
