Job description

Job Overview:

Huntswood SA is looking for a dynamic Learning and Development Support Specialist to provide admin support to the Learning and Development team from an administrative perspective as well as oversee and manage all aspects related to the planning and coordination of all Induction training, Upskilling as well as Training Interventions.

Job Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination:

  1. Assist in the scheduling and Coordination of training sessions, workshops and events.
  2. Manage training calendars, send out invitations and reminders to participants.
  3. Prepare and distribute training materials, including presentations, handouts and evaluation.
  4. Respond to inquiries regarding training programs and schedules.
  5. Assist in the development and improvement of training processes and documentation.

Administration:

  1. Maintain and update training records, databases and attendance stats.
  2. Support facilitators with logistics, equipment setup and other administrative tasks.
  3. Track and manage training and related expenses.
  4. Generate reports on training attendance, feedback and outcomes.
  5. Frequently liaising with suppliers to ensure that we have sufficient stock for welcome packs as per the Growth plan.
  6. Plan and arrange Travel for the L&D Team according to training requirements.

Reporting Duties:

  1. Generate and provide feedback for upskill and soft skills reports.
  2. Submit Training costing for Skills Development and liaise with BEE Consultant.
  3. Conduct Training register and Trainer EOD audits regularly to ensure consistency.
  4. Submit GBS Quarterly reports.

Job Requirements:

  1. National Senior Certificate – Grade 12.
  2. Minimum one year of experience in the same or similar role.
  3. Microsoft Office qualification advantageous.
